First Colony Levee Improvement District (FCLID) Update

During heavy rain events it is advisable NOT to park vehicles in the street or set out trash bins. Our streets are designed as part of the overall drainage system for the District, and you should expect water to drain through the streets before it drains out of the District.

November 5 is election day. Early voting is October 21 – November 1. Depending on your precinct, there are one or more bond elections addressing drainage. Affecting all members within FCLID is Ft. Bend County’s Proposition A – $83 million in drainage bonds. If approved by voters, the proposed drainage projects would allow county officials to leverage approximately $233 million in flood projects using matching funds from federal sources to repair damages from the 2015, 2016 and Hurricane Harvey floods.
